Who We Are |
We are a business that has 35 years experience in the automotive field. We still run a workshop specialising in vehicle diagnostics , fault finding and repair on all sales makes and models. We have had many years experience using the OEM dealer tools as we have had main dealer training and completed our training within a dealership. We found that many aftermarket tools are okay for reading codes, performing adaptations and capable of some coding functions, but lack workshop information. We have also found that in the last few years as vehicle manufacturers have moved forward at a very fast rate, test plans are often needed to make correct diagnosis of faults. So we decided to form a new company, that company being KDS TOOLS. |

OUR AIM
|
At KDS TOOLS , our aim is to deliver True Dealer Diagnostic Tools with the Genuine VCI'S and Licensed Software. We also wanted to help our customers create the necessary online accounts and help get them vetted for security related tasks and module programming. We want to offer direct support with keeping the tool up to date and with using the tool to program and configure modules and new parts.

WHY WE STARTED KDS TOOLS

Because Vehicle Manufacturers have made it as hard as they can for independents to compete with their Main Dealers. All of the software and hardware is now available to the independents but is hidden away (making it incredibly difficult, and something that can be hugely off-putting), plus this equipment and some of the subscriptions needed is very expensive.

All software is licensed by the Vehicle manufactures and an appropriate license or flat rate will need to be purchased through the appropriate website in order to use these tools. We can set up and purchase some of these on your behalf or point you to the relevant websites. 8. Our goal is to help Independent t Garages set up and maintain the updates needed to use the equipment purchased from us. Also to support the correct usage of the tool when trying to complete programming and coding of new parts that have been fitted to the vehicle. We don't claim to know everything there is to know about cars and diagnostics, it’s impossible to make such a claim. We don't claim to be the cheapest on the internet. We also don't claim that dealer diagnostic tools are magic and will fix every car they are used on. We are here to provide great quality equipment and back this up with support that comes from 35 years of experience in real-world scenarios.
